Working as a team with some friends, even if you do lose, is fun no matter
what! I would recommend though that you have paintball experience under your
belt first before you actually do sign up.
But, in the end, you need to start somewhere, right? As long as you
don't care about pride right away, then the experience will help you grow as
a player. Admittedly, paintball tournament players are the best of the bunch
with many teams sponsored by big brand names. But don't let this intimidate
you, because if you have the mentality of "I'm just going to go have fun and
gain some experience" for the first couple tournaments, you will learn a lot
more, connect with different people, and up your game
significantly.
