BT-4 Combat Paintball Gun Review - Check out the Pros, Cons, Kits/Upgrades, Pictures and Videos!
Looking for a paintball gun that won't break down?
What about a paintball gun with a fair price tag? Love
scenario paintball?
If you answered yes to any of these
questions then the BT-4 Combat marker could be right up
your alley. The BT-4 Combat is the marker that started the BT collection.
From the Delta Elite, TM-7,
Assault and various others the BT family is big and
beefy! But what is so great about the BT-4 Combat?
The BT-4 Combat paintball gun is very affordable for
anyone looking for a starter marker. A mere $160 (MSRP) and you are ready to
rock your buddies on the field. A true MilSim (Military Simulation) marker, the BT-4
Combat can be upgraded to have all sorts of things mounted on it. From Sights, scopes, night vision, grenade launchers, your imagination is the limit!
If that wasn't enough to get you excited, consider this;
the BT-4 Combat will not break down on you. So durable
and reliable the BT-4 Combat gives even the
Tippmann line of marker a run
for their money.
Fast enough for any scenario player, the BT-4 Combat shoots at a whopping
13 bps, that is downright perfect for this type of play!
Don't forget that the BT-4 Combat also uses both types
of propellants - Co2 & HPA. The BT-4 Combat paintball
marker is a true beast of a marker and will have your
opponent begging for mercy, let's just hope it's you
looking down the barrel and not into it!
Noobie Note: Extra bits of information are added for those of you that would like to pretend you understand, but really in fact have a lot of questions.
No need to feel embarrassed, we all have to start
somewhere! See videos at the end of the review.

Rails - Mount some scopes, laser sights, night vision, grenade launchers, this all equals lots of fun!

Accurate - Accurate right out of the box. But as with every new marker the rule of thumb is get a new barrel.
*Cough* Flatline *Cough*
What's Wrong?
Allen Keys - Comes with 5 Allen keys, you only need 2 to field strip and you will probably end up losing most of them (Not that bad in my opinion)
Rear Sight - Does not line up properly with front sight
Field Strip - Can be time consuming
Hefty - One word...Wimp!
Recommended Upgrades
Upgrades note: This gun has a lot of different upgrades.
Before you go crazy and buy everything in sight, just remember to buy just one
or two upgrades at first to make sure you enjoy having them. Sometimes people
end up buying a lot of different upgrades and they realize that that's not what
they really wanted in the end. To be honest...out of all the upgrades below I would suggest the Barrel the most.
Barrel - The stock barrel is great, but could be even better with an upgrade!
Butt-Stock - For looks :)
Laser Sight - Red dot
Rip Clip Feed System - It's just like the cyclone feed system on the
Tippmann A-5
E-Grip & Expansion Chamber
Keep in mind these are all optional upgrades as the BT-4
Combat is ready to rock right from the get go. For added performance though, I would suggest upgrading to the parts mentioned above.
BT-4 Combat Sniper Kit
Lovin it!
Rating/Recommendations
I give the BT-4 Combat a 4.8 out of 5. Only docking points because of the rear sight and Allen keys, no big deal right?
I would recommend the BT-4 Combat Paintball Gun to
new and advanced players alike. The BT-4 is tough,
reliable, durable and cheap. You can make the BT-4
Combat look like real military guns with the almost
unlimited amounts of upgrades available. If you're
looking to get started in woodsball stop looking, this
is the one. One last thing...Have fun!!
